Welcome to the Go Wild roving voucher angling scheme
Go Wild is The Eden Rivers Trust’s innovative roving voucher angling scheme. We have 28 challenging fishing beats spread throughout Cumbria’s beautiful Eden valley. The beats are all on private land, accessible only via the Go Wild scheme and are all real hidden gems.
Go Wild has been designed to provide a sustainable income for farmers and landowners, focussing particularly on stretches of river where habitat improvement work has been carried out.
Additionally, the catch returns help us improve our understanding of the catchment’s wild trout stocks, which allows us to manage them more effectively.
**Catch and release is in operation on all beats at all times**
Most of our beats are ideal trout habitat – so the banks are overgrown and there are plenty of trees, fallen branches and other obstacles. This is difficult fishing!

Two new angling passport schemes have recently opened under the Association of Rivers Trust's PINPOINT Project - both not too far from the Eden catchment, and both happy to accept Go Wild tokens.
The Ribble Catchment Conservation Trust: a brand new scheme with four very scenic beats around the Clitheroe area. Just right for a day out?
The Trent Rivers Trust's new Peak Passport: six stunning beats in the heart of the Peak District.
...and don't forget you can use your Go Wild tokens on one of neighbouring rivers - the Tyne. The Tyne Angling Passport has more than 25 beats on rivers of all shapes and sizes - something for everyone in the beautiful landscape of Northumbria

If you've got any good photos of our fishing beats, or what you've caught there, and wouldn't mind us using them on this site, please email! Also - all comments and suggestions for the scheme are welcome...
